Mighty Kicks, a nationwide program that brings soccer to your child’s preschool or day care, has begun scheduling in Central Kentucky.

Nathan Reynolds, a Lexington native who played soccer for Lafayette High School and Georgetown College, is a nationally licensed coach and owner/director of Mighty Kicks Lexington.

“Mighty Kicks is the premier introductory soccer program for kids ages 3, 4 and 5!” Reynolds says. “We partner with day cares and schools to provide an onsite soccer program that teaches confidence, coordination and character as well as basic soccer skills. Our passion is not about developing the next super star soccer player but rather developing super star kids who have confidence and character.”

Reynolds says parents love Mighty Kicks because:

  • We focus on life lessons that kids need. — character Building — respect, being brave, being confident, being kind and sharing.
  • It’s very affordable, for an 8 week season its only $75.
  • Mighty Kicks is a member of the Positive Coaching Alliance providing strong leadership for child development.
  • Mighty Kicks employs some of the best coaches in Lexington who are experienced in coaching young children.
  • Mighty Kicks is non-competitive, every child gets a ball and the games we play are all inclusive.
  • Shy children get the opportunity to break from their shell in a positive social environment.
  • Kids get to try soccer to see if they like before joining LYSA, I AM 3rd or the YMCA.
