In just a few short years, ID3 Soccer Academy has grown from an idea to a holistic training center that’s making a real impact on soccer in Central Kentucky.
While ID3 as a company is only a couple years old, Coach BJ Hall-Volpenhein has built off of his nearly 10 years of training experience and several years of coaching experience with the University of Kentucky Women’s Soccer Program.
ID3 stands for the Individual Development of the 1) Athletic, 2) Technical and 3)Tactical components of the game, which underlines its emphasis on helping your player become a complete player and achieve maximum potential in all phases of the game.
BJ and his team have created a player-focused process that yields development and results immediately, and over the life of their careers. ID3 takes pride in meeting players where they are at and helping them get to where they want to be – whether they are a beginner, searching for specialized training objectives, gearing up for a tryout – high school, college, and even professional players have joined the ID3 movement.
In the last year, ID3 has continued to add additional trainers to best provide clients with individual attention and proven results. One of the most notable hires is USA Track & Field Certified Coach, William Carter, who oversees the Athlete Development portion of ID3. William comes from California highly certified and with an extensive background in all sports. William is ready to help local soccer athletes of all levels enhance their abilities and attain maximum performance in their game.
