Two Central Kentucky high schools recently named their girls’ head soccer coaches for next season.
Wednesday, East Jessamine High School announced Louis Jones would take over the Jaguars program. Jones succeeds Zach Welch who he had served as an assistant coach. Louis is a former Senior League director for the Lexington Youth Soccer Association.
Last week, the new Frederick Douglass High School in Lexington announced Megan Skaff Adkins would be its first girls soccer coach. Adkins was an assistant at Lexington Catholic High School for the last three seasons where she was also a standout player.
